1) Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Vibez Team ("Vibez," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Vibez mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Vibez is rated 17+. By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement in your region and that you are at least 17 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed in connection with the Service, including when you:

  • create an account,
  • upload content (such as videos, photos, and text),
  • browse, like, comment, or otherwise interact with content,
  • contact customer support, or
  • enable optional device permissions (such as location).

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, username, email address.
  • Customer support: the content of messages you send to support, and related information you choose to provide.
  • Content you submit: videos, photos, captions, comments, and other text you upload or share through the Service.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (where permitted), language, time zone, and network information.
  • Usage data and analytics: app interactions, pages/screens viewed, features used, timestamps, and aggregated usage statistics.
  • Crash and diagnostic data: crash logs and performance diagnostics.
  • Location data (only if you allow it): precise or approximate location depending on your device settings and permission choice.

2.3 Cookies, Similar Technologies, and Web Beacons (If Applicable)

If the Service includes web-based components, we may use cookies and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) for login/session management, remembering preferences, security and fraud prevention, and measuring and improving usage. You can control cookies through your device or browser settings, but disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

3) Photos, Face Data, and Biometrics

No face recognition / biometrics. We do not perform face recognition or create biometric identifiers or biometric information from your photos or videos.
  • Limited processing for features: processing is limited to providing the feature you choose to use.
  • One-time processing and deletion: server-side processing is designed to be one-time and deleted promptly after processing completes.
  • User control: you control whether to upload content and whether to generate outputs.
  • Default storage for generation inputs: unless a feature requires server-side processing, the photos/text you choose for generation or processing remain on your device by default.
  • No training / no marketing: we do not use photos or face-related data to train models or for marketing.

4) Optional AI-Assisted / Automated Processing (If You Choose to Use It)

Some optional features may involve automated processing (including potentially AI-assisted processing) of images and/or text to generate outputs you request.

  • Server-side processing: inputs are processed on Vibez Team’s own servers.
  • No third-party sharing for processing: we do not share uploaded generation inputs with any third party for processing, and we do not sell them.
  • Prompt deletion: once processing is completed and the output is generated (or the request fails), uploaded inputs are deleted promptly.
  • User choice: you decide whether to upload inputs and whether to generate content.

5) How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (account creation, login, content posting, core functionality).
  • Personalization (e.g., feed ranking, recommended content, and preferences).
  • Improve and develop the Service (analytics, debugging, feature development).
  • Safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse detection, account security).
  • Customer support (responding to requests and troubleshooting).
  • Compliance and enforcement (legal obligations and protecting our rights).

We do not sell personal information.

6) How We Disclose / Share Information

We share information only as needed and consistent with this Privacy Policy:

  • With your consent: when you direct us to do so (including sharing content publicly or with other users).
  • Service providers (processors): trusted vendors that process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools, and security services) under appropriate safeguards.
  • Legal, safety, and rights protection: to comply with law, protect users and the public, prevent fraud or security issues, or enforce our policies.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.

Minimum necessary: we share only the minimum information needed for the relevant purpose.

7) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms to protect personal data during cross-border transfers.

8) Data Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, including:

  • encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate),
  • access controls and least-privilege practices,
  • periodic security audits and monitoring,
  • backups and recovery procedures.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Data Retention

We retain information for the periods below unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:

  • Account data: retained while your account is active.
  • User Content you post: retained while you keep it on the Service. If you delete your content or your account, we delete or anonymize it within the timeframes described below, subject to legal and safety requirements.
  • Account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days after your request, subject to legal obligations and legitimate needs.
  • Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months (generally in aggregated or pseudonymous form where feasible).
  • Customer support content: retained for up to 6 months after the support matter is resolved.
  • Server-side generation inputs (if used): deleted promptly after processing completes.

10) Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and withdraw consent.

To exercise rights, email dothikimthu0223@outlook.com with your request and the email address associated with your account. We will respond within 5 business days. For complex requests, we may need additional time as permitted by law and will notify you if so.

Location permissions can be enabled or disabled at any time in your device settings.

11) Children

The Service is intended for users age 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other appropriate means. The Effective Date above indicates when this Privacy Policy was last updated.
